The 2019-2020 UWEC Equestrian Show Team
Molly Vissers, Western
Hi, my name is Molly Vissers and I am a junior studying Health Care Administration here at UWEC. After a friend introduced me to horses, I instantly became hooked and started riding lessons. Shortly thereafter, I began showing at local open shows and continued for a few years. In 2011, I started showing on the AQHA circuit in western all-around classes. I had the privilege of showing a few amazing horses until I had to stop at 18 because of college. It didn't take me long to realize how much I missed showing and those I competed with. I'm looking forward to being able to show again and to meet new people on the UWEC Equestrian Show Team!

Kylie Cunningham, Western
Hi! My name is Kylie Cunningham, and I am a sophomore here at UWEC and I am undeclared in my major as of right now. Ever since I could walk I have been riding, and I began showing in 4-H and open shows at the age of 9. I leased my trainer's horses for 8 years, and for 5 of those years I brought them down to the State 4-H horse expo and always was very successful and had a great time. Then, the spring of 2017 we purchased our own family mare, Miss Sweet Marie. This past summer I spent my time showing Marie and taking a shot at training an unbroke 10 year old gelding named Indy. I am looking forward to continuing my riding experience on the UWEC Equestrian Show Team this year!

Emilee Haag, Hunt Seat
Hi, my name is Emilee and I’m a freshman here at UWEC. I’m majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and getting a certificate in American Sign Language. I started riding around age five and can’t remember a time without horses. I’ve shown 4-H and countless local open shows throughout the years. I showed only hunt seat and western pleasure up until about 3 years ago when I started doing mainly dressage. While dressage is my focus and passion, getting back into hunt seat through IHSA has been really fun. I love being part of the team because I get to engage with horses when mine is away at home!

Hannah Weaver, Western
Hello, my name is Hannah Weaver. I am currently a freshman at UWEC and I am an undeclared major, at the moment. I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I had always loved horses my whole life, but I didn’t start riding until the end of my junior year of high school. Once I started taking lessons, I didn’t want to stop. I knew that riding horses was something I wanted to keep doing, but I never thought I would actually have the opportunity to compete with such an amazing team! This will be my first year showing and I am very excited for what’s to come!
